Paul Arthur Burleson born on September 27, 1952, in Wooster, Ohio, is a dedicated family man and genealogist. A 1970 Eau Gallie High School graduate, he earned his degree in Building Construction Engineering and Management from the University of Florida in 1975. That same year, he married his beloved wife, Lorraine Christine Lorraine, and embarked on a lifelong journey of family discovery. Paul’s quest to trace his lineage began in 1981, sparked by a simple family bible entry and a desire to know more about his great -grandmother, affectionately known as ‘Grandma.” This curiosity led to a 40-year odyssey, expanding the Burleson Family Tree to over 158,000 individuals, including the Hatfield’s and Lorraine’s. Retiring in 201 7 after a 42-year career in construction management, Paul devoted himself to genealogy and writing. Paul’s literary contributions include self-published works on local church history, restroom etiquette, and a heartfelt tribute titled ”Always Charlie.”
Tracing his roots back to Edward Burleson of Suffield in 1650, Paul’s lineage is a testament to his passion for family history and his commitment to preserving the past for future generations.
